Attached is a pic of what the Teams notifications settings looked like in an early preview of MacOS native notifications in Teams. Once that rolls out you will be good to go 🙂
I did set it up as in post. Mac is set up in Teams notifications and I have downloaded the latest version since check updates would not update it. This sucks. I was getting notifications for chats before but not since update to big sur
