Teams mobile on Android, General channel broken?

For about the past week now on the Teams mobile client for Android the General channel in our team has been broken for all of our members - it won't load any posts, just keeps spinning the loading icon forever. All other channels work just fine. Anyone else seen something like this? This particular org and team are on Teams Freemium.

Resetting database or re-installing the client does nothing, the issue persists. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with Microsoft's new downgrades of various Teams services and the current overload of the service - namely, how likely is it that this is just temporary.

I have been experiencing the same problem for about two months.  At first it only affected myself (and I am usually at my desktop or have my tablet at hand) but it has started to affect members of my organization as well and is inhibiting our ability to collectively function.

I think I found what causes this: right before the General channel in our team got broken on mobile, we tried out a meeting/group call for the first time on that channel on the desktop client. It worked just fine, but afterwards, the mobile app could no longer open the channel contents.

So, recently we had another meeting on a different channel, and lo and behold: now that channel is broken on mobile as well. So seems that having a meeting on a channel in Teams free breaks it on the mobile client! Pretty nasty bug if you ask me... but since it's free I guess we won't be getting a fix...

That tracks—only, I'm running it from Business Premium and my members are on Business Essentials!
