Well, Teams is actually USELESS compared to Slack for instance. Microsoft used its power and position to impose it on its customers. The big company I work for suddenly switched to this without even asking the people.
The majority of us are disappointed. Teams lags. Teams lacks several basic features compared to Slack. But it's mandatory to use it because of some $$$ arrangements, not any actual benchmark.
Because of that **bleep** situation, I can not even perform a simple search in messages and retrieve the conversation context... And Slack (which is way better) will die.
Shame. That's just another predation issue in this industry showing that it is not and will never be sustainable.

Yup!!! Found a comparison of Slack to Teams and they do a good job but do not cover the search problem with Teams. But if you read the comments it's pretty obvious that the majority of users prefer Slack. Pretty telling comment that points out the truth that people in large corps are being forced into Teams and not doing it by choice, but techy startups overwhelming prefer Slack.
"As of the end of 2019, Microsoft has clearly taken over the lead within enterprises and government organizations, used by 65% of surveyed respondents. But Slack is still the clear leader within the startup sector and among developers and other young, tech-savvy workers. If you’re Microsoft Teams, this is a pretty scary graph"
