Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
When using the search function in Teams chat, is there a way to see more than just one specific message (I would like to see the response to the message)? For example, I searched for a question that ...

Are you searching for something that's older than a few months? Because it works for me for stuff that's fairly recent but anything that's old (like 6+ months) it does not.
Even with individual chats I have to use "go to message" and then PIN it (which the other person sees) to then be able to easily navigate to it in our chat.

Glad I've found this thread. This issue definitely still exists and is driving me nuts.
How come something this basic can be implemented so poorly?

None. They just redefine 'darkness' as an industry standard.
If you have to ask "how" or "why" then you must not realize you're in a Microsoft support forum. Oh yeah, this is day 1,075 of this thread and it's still not fixed.
