Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
When using the search function in Teams chat, is there a way to see more than just one specific message (I would like to see the response to the message)? For example, I searched for a question that ...
VasilMichev While I apprecaiate your optimism, it's now over 3 years later and Teams will still not let you view more than one message after doing a search. How hard is it to add a "jump to message" option from there so you can get some context? It's really pathetic how long it takes them to get around to such simple fix. They probably still use Webex up there in WA.
The workaround for first popping out the chat of the person you are wanting to search, then going back and searching and clicking on the result does work. Very stupid.
- That work around only works if the conversation is a chat, that absolutely does not work if the conversation is in a Team's channel which 99% of our discussions we search for are. And MS needs to fix this, work arounds are like sticking your finger in the dam rather than fixing the hole.
