Teams messages search function does not show full conversation

When using the search function in Teams chat, is there a way to see more than just one specific message (I would like to see the response to the message)? For example, I searched for a question that ...

MichelZCF Really like the blog post (....not), especially the part that says:

For longer messages, the results show a snippet of the part of the conversation that matches the search. Click on a specific message result to expand and view it in full.

Are you kidding me?!?!?! That is what this entire thread is about and no, it does NOT view the conversation in full. <thud-thud-thud> ... can't bang my head on this keyboard anymore. Going to see if we can talk our IT folks into
GOING BACK TO SLACK!
Microsoft hasn't done anything right since Vista... hard to even say that with a straight face.

  Still having this same issue in 2021. Just killed 25 minutes scrolling back 6 months in a large conversation... would love to switch back to Slack but the decision is out of my hands
