Teams LIVE Event While Driving

Whenever I am driving and trying to listen to a Teams LIVE event on my phone during that drive, the event pauses on me.  It will not allow me to listen to the event.  This is from my phone directly using the speaker or through the Bluetooth in my car.  As soon as I push the Play Button, it will immediately pause.  It appears to be some sort of safety feature that is turned on in the settings, but I cannot figure out what is causing it.  I can listen to and participate in regular Teams Meetings, but not Teams LIVE events.  Any thoughts?
