Teams hyper link to invite someone to chat.

I am tech support for a charity of volunteers. I found

online so that I can invite members to live chat with me when required but it tries to launch the desktop app. I was wondering if there is a way to get it to launch the browser version?

I have tried taking the /l part out and replaced it with w (which I got a stern warning from) but neither option work.

Any help would be awesome.
