Teams Helpdesk Users

Hello,

We have setup a helpdesk within teams and I have got it working really well, all I need to do is make it so that users can only see the tickets they create and not all the tickets created across the organisation.  So far I cannot seem to find a practical way of doing this, any advice please.

  • Hi David,

Need more specific information where are the users able to view the ticket? Is in CRM or SNOW instance where the tickets are visible to the users?

It would be more of a customization required on the ticketing tool.

    With Regards,
    Satish

RealTime_M365Thank you for your reply, when users log into the ticketing system with teams or sharepoint they can see all tickets created not just thier own ones, am assuming I have to change the view.

David011977 Microsoft Teams is a great choice for helpdesk as you can collaborate within your team while using all features of helpdesk. There are three options -

        1) Build it using PowerApps (you have probably using this),
        2) Use Issue tracking app provided by Microsoft. This is a simple app with limited features
        3) Use a helpdesk app from Microsoft Teams Appsource. There are many helpdesk applications but not every app provides full integration with Microsoft Teams. We recommend using Zervise as it is free and provide full features.

        All the best!

        Thanks,
        Probodh
