Teams File Conversation Retention
Looking for clarification. If we set retention on Files and Channels, what happens to the conversation surrounding a file if the Channel retention is shorter than the SharePoint file retention. Does the conversation thread stick with the File, or is it removed at retention limit and then the file stays until its own limit?

- All conversations are separate to files! The messages will not be removed if the file is removed due to retention
