Josiah_H there are loads of posts about this for Mac on the internet in teh Teams forums but they give the staple answer and lock the post.
Just a thought for you. I'm using a MacBook Pro 16 (Monterey 12.5) and have suffered this past few months with Teams disconnecting and having to use web versions or my iPhone.
Recently discovered after removing all other applications from startup (System Preferences > Users and Groups > Select User > Login Items) teams is now working perfectly. I re-added the applications to startup and it failed again.
