I've been having this problem for weeks. I'm glad I'm not alone!!
nickmckennaalso started occuring in my business since Monday. The temporary solution is to uninstall, remove all Teams related folders under %APPDATA%, install again and then it works. But the error "We ran into a problem. Reconnecting..." comes back the next day like a loop.
