I appreciate the response. I have seen that same workaround posted on several tech forums like this one, but it does not help us understand the root-cause to this issue. We have several thousand end-users, and that workaround is something that should be addressed on the Microsoft level

Sign out
Close the application from Task Manager
Delete folder "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams"
Open the app
Sign in again
You are all set!

MohamedAmr This is the best solution. If the error occurs after you reset your password, then only the first step may be needed. People can try each step one a time and test after each one. In my case it is a MS authentication problem. Your solution removes the token so it has to be regenerated. So any method to regenerate the token should work
