Teams email meeting request link is grey with no link.
I have a user creating Teams meetings with Audio conferencing in Outlook. When creating the meeting he gets the information and hyperlinks.
The recipient gets the email request and the formatting and hyperlinks are changed and removed.
Not sure what the problem is both Outlook and Teams have been updated prior to this post.
Any help is appreciated.
Hi kjones031968
I would test by sending the meeting to someone else external. Could be that the recipient's organisation has something on their mail system which strips hyperlinks out of the mail. This is typical of organisations trying to control malicious URL's.
If that is the case, the solution would probably be to get them to whitelist your email.
If that's not the case and it is happening to all recipients on all platforms, it could be something in your organisation if you have a third party gateway.
If it's not you are the other organisation, then I would raise it to Microsoft supportOne last thing, I would check that the email client on the recipients end is set to send and receive in HTML, not just in plaintext. It could be the mail client is re-formatting the mail. Another way to confirm this is to see if these hyperlinks exist in their mail web client/mobile app etc.
Hope that answers your question!
Best, Chris
