    One workaround we are hearing for this issue is to create an empty settings.json file under
    AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams
    This seems to fix the issue.

Same problem here with AVD machines joined with AAD. We uninstalled, cleared the cache, and tried again. The problem still exists.
