Teams crashes my computer and restarts it
- I’d suspect it’s the video/ cam drivers! Update those to start with
I'm experiencing similar issue if i start sharing my screen during Teams call. Updated all the drivers on the machine, but issue still persists.
Teams crashed my computer 3 times in a 2 hour video meeting this morning. I rely on Team video daily and this crashing is now happening multiple times a week. This is getting ridiculous. My computer doesn't crash except for when I'm in a Teams video call.
I use a Logitech BRIO camera. I was told by my IT guy to reinstall the camera device drivers a few weeks ago, which I did. No change to the frequent crashes. The crashes are immediate (no warning), shut down the computer completely, and then the computer starts up on its own.
Please help!
GGiallonardo I am a student and i have multiple classes in one day and my computer crashes up to 5 times a day and teachers mark me absent due to the technical difficulty .
- Thanks for responding and I would definitely show your teacher these posts. You are not alone and shouldn’t be held accountable. I actually got a new computer which ultimately solved my Teams video crashing. Microsoft did not help.
