Teams call controls on jabra headset not working
- Jul 28, 2021
I found a solution for my Jabra Speak 510 where the controls and LEDs did not work for teams on USB - Bluetooth worked.
Change the Driver to "Jabra SPEAK 510 (Sound Research)" to "Jabra SPEAK 510 USB (Sound Research)" by selecting available drivers.
No everything is fine again. Seems to be that Windows selected the wrong driver after updating to 20H2...
Hi guys,
It works again. I did not do anything. On Friday, it did not work but now it works again. I really do not know what happened. Today I just started the work as usual and like a miracle it works fine. Everything: call control, mute/unmute, even the Teams button does what it should be.
Actually, I restarted my PC and there were some Windows updates installed. Maybe in them there was the solution.

Lars_Christensen1970 I don't normally use the headset controls to end the call, but just tried it and it does not work. The headset announced call ended, but the call was not terminated. (Sennheiser MB Pro 2 using BTD800 UDB dongle.) Outbound call, not tried inbound.

That was a short success 😞
we now see issuses with outgoing call, where it isn't possible to hang up on headsets (Call control). Ingoing calls seems to work??!
(Running Microsoft Teams version 1.3.00.26064 (64-bit).)
Is this a generel error? Are you experience the same?

For me the same, suddenly it is working today without an update in the client

Lorie_Burmood - Same for me. Started working Monday. No updates to Teams app, no updates to EPOS components, no windows updates. Don't understand it, but at least it is working now.
- andrasvalczSep 28, 2020Copper ContributorActually, I had to run (not install because it was already installed) JABRA DIRECT as I lost connection with JABRA 380 somehow. But after running JABRA DIRECT and reconnecting the headset it worked again. But I doubt that this changed anything thus I do not think that this was the solution. It is really strange but it is MS Windows so who really knows what is happening. 🙂

your right.
We did not run any windows updates on our side. Also Teams was already on the latest version.
Very strange. For us the solution was the one with Jabra Direct.

And then reinstall of Jabra Connect isn't the "true fix", Since Sennheiser EPOS and other headsets brands call control suddenly works again??!!
