Teams audio driver causing sound problems in WoW

hi,

 

a couple of days ago I updated Teams on my Mac and since that moment I no longer had sound in World of Warcraft.

This seems to be an issue that exists for years already.

Is anything being done to get this fixed?

I mean Blizzard is basically owned by Microsoft now.  It can't be rocket science to come up with a solution.

    Hello,

    In case of audio issues on macOS after using Teams, Microsoft recommends restarting the macOS audio process (coreaudiod) or simply restarting the Mac.

    If you have administrator privileges on your Mac, Microsoft also recommends restarting the macOS audio process by running the following command in Terminal : sudo killall coreaudiod

    Then test the audio again.

    To date, I haven't found any Microsoft announcement indicating that a specific fix is planned for this scenario.
