Teams App for Mac won't launch

After latest Teams app update for Mac, the app won't launch.  Can see it trying to in top bar but is unresponsive and requires force quit to get out.

Have tried

• Uninstall, delete cache files/folders and associated key chain entries. Reinstalled and same issue
• Launching from calendar entry as suggested elsewhere. It tried to open the app but doesn't respond. Need to force quit.
• Have tried installing previous version of Teams.  Same issue.

Anyone have any other ideas?
