Teams Android clicking reply or notifications shows first message of conversation instead of latest.

I just recently downloaded teams on my new phone. Now when I click on notifications or try to reply to threads it takes me to the first post of the thread instead of the latest.

 

I have tried restarting the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing is resolving the issue.
