Teams acting weird on M1 Macbook pro
Hi,
Teams was working fine on my Macbook Pro with M1 chip, and then suddenly it stopped. I could not take calls or join live events (and as a producer I could not join at all since you can't do this from web or mobile app). Calls are working on the web and mobile.
I tried starting up in safe mode and it didn't work. I tried creating a new user and logging with it and it didn't work. I of course upgraded the OS to latest and re-installed Teams. It didn't work.
I also tried creating a new user on an iMac (Intel chip) and using teams there, and that was worked.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it a Teams issue or hardware issue or OS issue? How can this be fixed? Anything else I can try?

I have this problem with both i7 and m1 chips on Monterey 12.5 and 12.5.1 with about 5 affected users. When I launch Teams on the affected machines, a white window pops up and then nothing further.
I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall Teams
I've also cleared the cache and keychain as described here:
"First, please make sure all cache under the following folders are deleted when you cleared the cache.

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/blob_storage”
“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Cache”

If clearing cache doesn’t help, please kindly clearing your credentials in Key Chain to see if it helps: Start Keychain Access: Select the Finder application, click Utilities on the Go menu, and then double-click Keychain Access. Find Microsoft Teams Identities Cache and delete it.
If the above doesn’t work, please kindly check if your Time zone is set correctly on your Mac, which can also cause the problem."
Still Teams does not load. I imagine there are a lot more people having this problem. It's important that this be addressed as lots of people are working from home and using Teams is even more critical that before.
I know this forum is answered by users, but MS surely knows about the problem right?- DivyaDarCopper Contributor
robotech I figured out after doing a lot of things including deleting cache, uninstalling, restarting, updating OS, etc. that the problem was with a specific network. I haven't figured out a solution for that, so the backup network of my house is my main network for my laptop. This is a stopgap arrangement that has lasted too long, I was hoping a new update of teams could fix it, but unfortunately hasn't till now. But I will also try the things you mentioned.

Seems to be an weird issue. One of the option is to clean uninstall of the Microsoft Teams Application from the MAC device and then restart the machine and then install the Microsoft Teams Application again on the machine.
