Teams - Pupils joining as Guest - Causing Chaos!!!

Afternoon all,

 

We currently have an issue where pupils are joining as Guest and causing chaos in lessons. We have set the lobby where the teacher admits them but they change their name and join.

 

Is there a way we can stop guests joining meeting completely?

 

Or how can we overcome this?

 

Help will be really appreciated.

    Hi, you can disable ”Anonymous users can join a meeting” https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/meeting-settings-in-teams#allow-anonymous-users-to-join-meetings

    And there’s a setting for guest access as well https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/set-up-guests
