Teams’ screen sharing issue: Sharing start slowly

Sharing a large resolution takes longer time than earlier, users cannot see shared screens on Microsoft Teams (Windows).

I noticed that best way to solve this problem is use web browser instead app, screen sharing working perfectly when using browser version to Teams.

Or but not working so good than browser;

Before start sharing screen, change resolution to smaller.
For example, with a resolution of 1600 x 900 , the start of sharing takes three seconds 3s.
After users can see what is shared, it is possible to directly change resolution back to normal.

The problem only occurs when a separate monitor is connected to the computer and if user use big resolutions.

Examples of how long it takes to start the division.
1600 x 900 --> 3s
2048 x 1152 --> 6-10s
2560 x 1440 --> 1min 30s

Two/three months ago, this problem did not exist, everything worked perfectly.

Problem started probably with this version:
- 2023 June 21, version 1.6.00.16465

    It truly depends on your and the viewers connectivity.
    I am polite enough to know to never share my 4k screen, I always share only an app.

      Unfortunately I am not so lucky one that I could share only an app...

        Petri_KP3 I just switch apps. If there are cases in which I absolutely can't, then I drop my monitor resolution.

        If you run at 4k with 300% magnification, then dropping the resolution isn't really going to impact anything.

        If you are at 4k at 100% resolution, as I am, I know that sharing my screen will result in something that no one else can see.
