Team Owner unable to add members

Some users in our domain can't add any members to a Team created as both public and private even though they are the Owner of the Team. It returns the error - "Something went wrong" "We ran into an issue. Please try again later".

Verified the permissions are the same as the users who are able to add members successfully without any error. Tested through browser, client app, and device app, it results in same behavior.

Logged support ticket with Microsoft over a month ago and still waiting on resolution.

Wondering if anyone here is aware of this issue and know a fix?
