Team Member Permissions?
Now that we are all suddenly working from home, I created an MS Team for my IRL team. I made everyone an owner, but they cannot create channels for their specific projects. Is there a setting that will give everyone the same level of control that I have as the creator of the team?

Try removing and re-adding to the Team and re-set them with Owner permissions

Best, ChrisAlso make sure all permissions are one - you may not be allowing members to create channels and have it locked down. To get there select (...) next to team name > manage team > settings > permissions
