Team - Group Mailbox Storage
Hi All,
I understand that office 365 E3 group mailbox storage is 50 GB. Do we need to purchase additional storage if we hit the limit or is it unlimited? Can we setup the archive mailbox for group mailbox in office 365?
What are the best practices to manage storage and capacity planning for group mailbox created with Teams?.
What are the steps to check allocated available group mailbox storage for the team?
Thanks for your help.

- If you are getting over 50gb in email your doing it wrong 😉
- Hi Badal Ratra,
See article

Group mailboxes are 50Gb. Unfortunately this can't be added to. No archiving functionality as confirmed here:

Checking group mailbox storage you could get through the Office 365 Groups report

Best way to manage storage for a group mailbox is probably through a retention policy as opposed to manually deleting it as suggested in the following article

Hope that answers your questions!
