Static noise on MS Teams during powerpoint screenshare (Mac)
Just writing on the off chance that anyone has managed to find a fix for this yet? It is still plaguing me and, as I keep my MBP in clamshell mode most of the time, is major friction to juggle things around when I decide I need to share some slides mid-meeting. Otherwise, I would have left the audio using there MBP audio permanently but the microphone doesn't work in clamshell.

Thealbs I had to start screensharing to get Teams to prompt me to update my audio drivers (after installing the updated version of Teams). Once I did that and allowed Teams to update the drivers, the issue was gone.

Granite10 that didn't work for mew unfortunately. Still getting the issues.
Has anyone tried splitting input and output audio across two devices at all? At present, I get the issue when I have both speaker and microphone on my Apple Studio Display. If I move the both to my MacBook then it works fine. I may try splitting them (speaker on MacBook, Microphone on Studio Display) next time I have a 'safe' Teams chat to test it out on ...

Thealbs Same here with same version and ongoing issues.
I had random luck at one point by pulling out all connections in the middle of their presentation and when I re-connected the noise had gone. But it wasn't repeatable in another meeting.
Teams seems even more unreliable in general at the moment so I've given up experimenting - I'm just grateful if it doesn't boot me out mid-meeting at the moment.
- Granite10Feb 20, 2023Copper ContributorI had to begin a screen share to prompt Teams to update the audio driver. Once I updated the driver, I restarted Teams and everything seems to be working without issue now.
