Static noise on MS Teams during powerpoint screenshare (Mac)

Also experiencing this. MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019), OS 12.6.1, Teams 1.5.00.31156.
Only happens when I (or another meeting attendee) use PowerPoint Live.
I did some experimenting by changing audio settings on my Mac (not in Teams), toggling from my MacBook, my Studio Display, and "Microsoft Teams Audio Device".
At one point I was able to get the sound from my Studio Display without static after randomly choosing different output sources, but don't recall exact sequence that worked.
