Some emails forwarded from Outlook to a Teams channel bounce back as un-deliverable in Outlook Inbox
My company has a shared Outlook Inbox which we monitor for support requests.
I have created a Teams channel so that all requests emailed to the shared Outlook Inbox may be forwarded there and resolved in teams.
This works if the emails sent to the shared inbox, that are to be forwarded on, are originally sent from another outlook or Hotmail account, though if sent from a gmail account, these emails, when forwarded on to the teams channel, bounce back to the shared Outlook Inbox from the Teams postmaster.
I'm guessing there is some authentication that fails, as other emails that do make it to the teams channel are shown as being from the original sender rather than the Shared Outlook Account.
Is there any way to rectify this issue so that all emails are received in teams when forwarded on using the shared Outlook inbox?

- Check the advanced settings of the channel email address and make sure it doesn’t block for example the gmail domain

adam deltinger Thanks for your response Adam - I had checked that already and is set to "Anyone can send emails to this address"
- Can you post the bounce message in full here that you receive?
Best, Chris
