Signing up to free teams I get this message

Looks like you already have an account. Sign in to open Microsoft Teams.
but when I sign in with that account I get a message that
You're not on Teams yet, but you can set it up for your organization.
I cannot access web client or desktop client.
What can I do?

- This is a bug and there is a work around for now, but a fix is coming as it's a known issue. Please see my reply here for work around(seems similar to how you got into it): https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/cannot-access-microsoft-teams/m-p/1212804#M46636
But hopefully this gets fixed soon so you can just login normally. Are you signing in with an Office 365 account? You cannot use the free version of Teams with an Office 365 account.

Yes this is with a Free account. I have solved this by sending me the invite again from the web client that worked (it worked only on firefox, with chrome and desktop client I had problems). Very confusing to setup really...
