SharePoint Ribbon confusion
I get the SPO doc library ribbon in the teams channel when using the Browser but not when using the Windows Desktop app. Is this expected behavior?
When you say desktop app can you give a bit more info. There is no SharePoint desktop application.
The Ribbon is only available in Classic Mode so where you are seeing no ribbon is probably in Modern SharePoint.

Sorry must have skipped past the Team channel bit.
Adding a Doc Lib as a tab like you doesn't give the header you would expect, seems they haven't updated the "Document Library" tab. You can get the ribbon you would expect by adding the Website tab and putting in the URL of the document library.
- Sorry, i'm not being clear. I'm referring to the ribbon that is displayed at the top of the Files page, in the browser it has the Sync and ability to change the View, these don't show up for me in the Teams App
