SharePoint Documents Stopped Populating Teams Documents
- Jun 28, 2023
TheWayward1 Hey, I think this is a bug as I'm experiencing the same thing - but the workaround I've found is to add a 'Document Library' tab which seems to work ok.
- Select Add a tab
- Search and add 'Document Library'
- Select Use a SharePoint link
- Enter/Paste the URL of your document library then select Go
- Select the document library then select Next
- Select the folder then select Next
- Enter the name for the tab then select Save
- (Take a breath because this feels like a lot of steps just to add a tab... 😅)
It would help to report the issue as well via Help > Give Feeback
TheWayward1 The Teams files tab is simply a view of the folder for that channel in the SharePoint document library, there isn't a process of copying or population that makes them appear there.
Could you be saving the files into a different folder in the document library, one which is not shown in your channel? Can you show them side by side, SharePoint looking one way and Teams another?
