SFB to Teams interop CU REQ

We have SFB Server 2015 with CU7 running and no Hybrid setup yet, we are planning to do Hybrid with Edge and want to keep SFB Setup to CU7 (July 2018 version) only for Interop to work between SFB on premise and Teams,

Is there any limitations for Islands mode to work with CU7
