Actually it all depends on the dynamics/variables at your end, like company's needs, champions' technical backgrounds/levels, expectations from end-users about Teams, etc... Therefore there cannot be any specific or certain answers to your question.
Anyway I believe these actions would help:
- Have a certain team to bring all these champions together in one collaborative group.
- Hold regular meetings to educate them about the fundamentals and basic features of Teams. Gamification is also a must.
- Listen to them actively and use Forms for surveying purposes to understand the points/needs that Teams can address in your company which would make the adoption much more easier and help breaking specific users' resistances against Teams.
- Use Planner/To-Do to assign them tasks for adoption purposes and keep track of how they involve their colleagues in.
- Record short and educative videos with them and share with others, etc...
