Screen Sharing in 1:1 chats (disabled)

Are our Teams users supposed to be able to perform MeetNow and/or screen sharing in the 1:1 Chat feature? If so, what would I need to look at in the Teams Admin Portal? I want to say that we had this up to about a week ago, it has since disappeared. 

 

Note that we DO have the function in Teams and Channels. Just not the 1:1 chats function. 

 

Please advice, thank you.

    Also are you trying or the person having the issue using the desktop client? You cannot use the Screen SHare button in 1:1 chats via web client.

    Admin center > Meetings > Meeting Policies under participants and guests > Allow Meet now in private meetings might be it, since it's technically an ad-hoc meeting to do the sharing.
