Roadmap 72211: Microsoft Teams: Pairing the channel and the corresponding SharePoint folder name.
Hi all,
not sure if this is the right place but anyway....
Anyone has a clue on what is happening to roadmapitem 72211?
It was supposed to be GA in October 2021 but still shows status rolling out.
Really waiting for this one

Does anyone have an update on this rollout? I desperately need this to happen since MS has also eliminated the ability to filter these channel folders out of a view with metadata ( which was the solution I was using before this).
I just checked the roadmap and while it says GA May 2022, it still shows in development and not even rolling out at this point.
My staff are getting very frustrated that they can't be nimble in their team and change channel names to match the business because it won't update their SharePoint as well.
Any help is appreciated. - Rollout can take months in some cases, be patient 🙂

Timing: late February through late April
Roll-out: tenant level
Control type: admin control
Action: review and assess VasilMichev guess my definition of GA is a bit different then
But I will wait patiently for the roll out to finish
