Restricting file sharing in Teams Chats with external users

I have had a request to investigate how to disable file sharing with external users when chatting using MS Teams. Is there a way to restrict sharing with external accounts. I've dug around but can't ...

This can be achieved through the follow the article and see if this helps in disabling the File Share on the specific Team.

As of now we do not have any other option to disable file sharing in Microsoft Teams

Hi RealTime_M365,

So if the conversations are not part of a Team then we can't block that file share at all, correct?

  Here are the steps to restrict the File Sharing using OneDrive and Sharepoint for External Users.

  All the policies needs to be restricted on Sharepoint and One Drive for File Sharing
