"Replies Restricted" with Teams for Android

All my company users are experiencing this issue on ios teams app.
We have the general channels in several teams set to "only owners can post" and set the channels to the "threads" function.
They can reply to posts created by Owners on the desktop app, but not on the mobile app.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
