Recommendations for employee engagement app in Microsoft Teams?
Hi, the answer is Viva Engage.
From my experience, these are some tips to help you succeed with a project like this.
1) It's essential to maintain read/write/create policies to encourage engagement.
2) Don't limit yourself to surveys: encourage employees to share experiences, useful information, and convivial insights.
3) A social intranet is earned media: don't use it like a traditional channel. A tool only works if you use it to the best of its ability.
4) Don't be afraid of losing control of conversations (spoiler alert, you already lost it a long time ago): no employee is stupid enough to share inappropriate content publicly.
5) You have the opposite problem: knowing your employees well, their potential, their interests, their aspirations, their leadership skills.
This is valuable and strategic information for a company, which no consulting firm will ever be able to provide you with, or which, at best, you will obtain from the employees themselves when it is too late.
6) Listen. Always.
7) Keep in mind that listening must translate into action, otherwise engagement will disappear and you will lose the information you need.
8) Continually ask yourself what else you can do to maintain the current engagement or improve a dissatisfaction.
9) Choose the right tone of voice for your goal (informal is best).
10) Don't be afraid to experiment with both the platform and the content. Sometimes you'll propose something that won't please everyone, but if you don't, you'll never know if you've done enough.
Good luck.
