Yes Microsoft has announced that this year they would be releasing the 3x3 video frame on the Microsoft Team Meeting. Looking at the security issues and concerns which was raised against zoom being a consultant I wouldn't recommend Zoom as a Solution for a Enterprise Organization.
The 3x3 Feature is definitely coming soon in Microsoft Teams. Below the Announcement about the same

With the recent press around data privacy issues, and security flaws that can compromise your network security I would think Zoom is the last product you'd want to introduce at this time!
