Hey all, sorry I have been MIA. I have tested this experience and chatted with a few people who have been looking at similar issues. We have fixed a few cases when Join buttons are missing when invites come from Outlook (changes are in the next release that is in process of rolling out), but I don't believe the every case (including the forwarding issue) has been addressed. I have added a work item on our side to mitigate it in the next quarter, which means another few months of waiting. I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but it is not a simple fix.
Pavel Yurevich Thank you for the reply. We have today proved that it is an outlook client issue.
When a user forwards a meeting invite from outlook 2019 or outlook 365 full client, the join button is missing on the POLY screen. However, when the meeting invite is forwarded via outlook web access, the join button now appears.
although this is a fix as such, asking users to switch between outlook client and outlook web access is not an answer.
