The account sending you the emails is that a service account or is it a random global admin account?
The account sending the emails is a global admin account, in fact, it is my account (I'm global admin).
I know this is an old post but did you ever get it resolved MTSBob​ ?
We have a similar issue where all teams notifications are being sent to users from a generic support address and we want them to come from the address of the person who sent the teams chat message.
When users respond to the chat notification emails thinking they are responding to the sender they are actually responding to an IT distribution list.
