    Its the new calling experience is in the rollout at the moment. 
    Its a new feature; The user didnt do anything "wrong"

It might be new, it might be shiny but what it isn't is welcomed, consulted or configurable.

 

When will MS learn that people get to like what they know and are used to and making a change (for change's sake) that doesn't add one jot of functionality and doesn't provide for the user to select the new or keep the old (where functionality is not affected by the change) will forever be unpopular and unwelcome.

Lots of users Today complaining - seems like change for changes sake and not helping current users happy with it just working as it was!
