no meeting chat
In the implementation of teams when I create a meeting in the team/general channel there is no meeting chat icon available for team members when they join through the web browser link (not logging in...
This is expected behavior. Channel meetings use a chat thread in the Team and anyone not in the Team that joins the meeting cannot participate in chat.
To have external users participate in chat you need to setup a meeting / meet now not associated to a channel this will then allow the use of chat for external users to the Team.

OK, thanks for that. Its very hard to get people to log in when they see a link and just want to click it and join through the web browser.
- Get SSO setup (assuming these are managed devices) so they auto sign in. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/how-to-connect-sso-quick-start
