100% relate to this. Feedback getting lost in chat threads was a constant problem for us. Someone would give great feedback in a message but there was no record of it when review time came around. What worked for us was Teamflect. Its a Teams app so managers don't have to leave their workflow. They can give structured feedback right there, it gets logged automatically, and when review season comes everything is already documented. The 1:1 meeting feature also helps because you can attach feedback to recurring check-ins so it becomes a habit rather than something managers have to remember to do separately.
