Notify when available feature in NEW Teams app
11/28 update: please upvote this issue here in the feedback portal: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/bd4374ec-88ff-ed11-a81c-000d3ae5b6f4
The "Notify when available" feature doesn't appear to be available yet in the NEW Teams application when the new app is supposed to have full feature parity at this point. It's a useful feature that I (and I know others) use often. Is this feature going to be developed/released for the NEW Teams or is this not going to be available?

- ruth81Brass ContributorI have switched back to Classic Teams for this reason
- mvdhnlCopper ContributorI switched back to old Teams after an hour or so, cause I need "Notify when available" a lot.
- MarceloFinkiCopper ContributorGood for all of you who are able to go back to the previous version. I tried to go back but the "go back to classic" feature it is not working for me 😞
In my case, I do not have "complete" control over the computer I use; as an employee, I am constrained by what the Security Office and the Windows Support team decides for me. Maybe they configured something in a way that does not let me go back. When I try to use the go back option, all I get is a message telling me that the "classic" version needs an upgrade, and I am back to the "NEW" teams. I cannot opt out of that. Shrug... so... enjoy the classic version, guys 🙂
BTW, I also hear negative comments from co-workers whose MS-Outlook has been upgraded. IT seems it is a breaking version. Apparently, there is a risk to lose contacts, email rules, and things like that. so... FWIW, keep an eye on that too. Cheers.- LR_profBrass ContributorI desire swithing back to 90's anarchy...
- shayInuCopper ContributorPlease add back the "Notify when available" option!
- douglassparksBrass ContributorI agree. This is a heavily used feature for me. Switching back to old teams now...

- MarceloFinkiCopper ContributorAgree with Original poster !!! please bring back this feature !!!
- udontknowmeCopper ContributorI swear to god I saw this in the new version, but today it's not there. When I switched back to the old version the menu option for "Notify when available" POPPED into the context menu, like it was dynamically loaded.

- MartyD_AMACOBrass ContributorAs others have noted, this is a very useful feature - near daily for me. When you need to use it, you need it. It does mean a temp table of notifications needs to be maintained, which MS probably doesn't care to write the code to maintain.
- GUSers-OTPBrass ContributorYeah, this was a significant degradation to encounter today. True buzzkill.
- philipriisCopper ContributorAbsolutely a must-have. Please add it.
