That ("stalking") is a very good question, although I would think the first line of response would include a company's HR and/or Safety/Security Departments.
Sadly, MS (as do other companies) leverage the process model of getting users on board with cool features, then yank them out, then return them for additional recurring revenue.

That's why I mentioned it in a previous comment - that's the reason we were given by MS for the removal - complaints of employee monitoring - but I don't know any more context.

- Well, silly me thought knowing what your team is doing as well reaching out to them at their convenience versus mine was an aspect of leadership and management, but since MS feels it is not, then no point in following this conversation anymore.
Thanks to all who commented on the topic, I have enjoyed your insights.- Exactly! It's not supposed to be Facebook, it's a corporate tool - and no-one I speak to doesn't want this feature, management OR support staff - they all use it.
- and if there is 1 company in the world that wants to turn off this feature, it could be a setting. seems like a very bad reason to not have it implemented.
