As a workaround, if you need to get notified when someone is available, you can use the browser version - https://teams.microsoft.com.
Nope,, same as Grant above, not there in the left-side nav on the browser for us either, nor when you go to the ... while a chat is open with the relevant person.
- Thanks for your note but that is not possible for me in the browser version. The feature is not available anywhere in the new Teams.
