Notify when available feature in NEW Teams app

The "Notify when available" feature doesn't appear to be available yet in the NEW Teams application when the new app is supposed to have full feature parity at this point. It's a useful feature that I (and I know others) use often. Is this feature going to be developed/released for the NEW Teams or is this not going to be available?

The feature now exists when you click on the 3 dots in the left "Chat"-panel --> "Notify when available".
However i would like to enable the notification only for a short time (eg 24 hours)
Currently i use the feature when i want to call someone, but he is currently busy. After some weeks i get to many notifications for different people i have marked before and i need to delete them manually via Settings -- > Notifications and activity --> Presence --> Manage notifications.

Good job everybody, we have our beloved Notify When Available feature back with the latest update.- Great news!
- Great to see the notifications back again and I can see that it has picked up my previous settings which is even better.
What I can't see is where to change them. It used to be from the Chat tile but now I can't find it. Is it somewhere different in the new version? Anybody able to advise please?

I don't want to change to the new Teams until this is available This feature is crucial for normal business operations. It should not be removed. kellydcco

I am project manager that work remotely so the "Notify when available" is critical to me. So far I have been able to revert to the classic Teams but I am very concerned that at some point this option will be unavailable to me.
The "Notify when Available" is an absolute must have feature!
If i need a question answered or something done, factoring in different working patterns and potentially time zones, this was invaluable as I could instantly see who was/wasn't available and direct my query accordingly. It's not for keeping tabs on people, organisations can do that anyway, more about making efficient use of time and effort. For anything non urgent I'd email.
- Its certainly a useful feature, especially when you have colleagues all around the world. Remembering time zones left right and centre is a pain, a simple pop up that says when they're available is immensely helpful.
I think having the feature in TAC to turn it on or off, or even better, being able to have a group attached so people can "opt in/out" as such would be the sweet spot.
