New Teams public preview mode - need to restart?

Hi 🙂

When using the New version of Teams, if I enable the preview mode via Settings/About the version number changes to include (preview) after it, but the features I know to be there in preview do not show - the current one that is easy to check is the new compose box.

To get it to fully enable I need to quit and relaunch the app - in Classic the app resprung when opting to enable preview. Is this what other people see happening, or is my client playing up?
